TL;DR - My point: sending my match a version of:

“you seem cool/chill/interesting but hey I can’t check this app much at work. (555) 555-5555 is my cell. -BlakeClass”

Sending this EARLY on, first five texts, has yielded 3 out of 3 girls texting me and setting up a date quickly.

My post: I’m no expert, don’t claim to be, but I took the advice form an post on here. Just wanted to share my results and bring it up again.

When I used it: most of us know the situation. The girl is attractive, and she’s responding, but she takes half a day to respond. I want to meet her, but half of the time asking for her number or a date gets a response of “ahh rather bold of you but it’s a bit early for that. Let’s chat on here for a little bit (little bit turns into four days of what amounts to sending each other telegrams back and forth).

Why I think it works: again I’m not expert, but it seems like a valid and polite way of saying “look I’m fucking busy, I’m doing my part here, I say we just do this. You in or out?” Without sounding like a dick or putting pressure on her. The fact that she can ignore it or doesn’t have to invest makes her feel comfortable responding and investing. Take that explanation with a grain of salt, but I do think it has merit.
