Often in this reddit i see people askining something going in the direction "you guys think i am ok or is this strange/weird/lame" esspecially from the younger ones.
you care about outside validation and you wonder am i allright? you think you have strange hobbies or you notice you like to approach stuff differently than others. Stop seeking outside validation.
Instead listen inward, reflect on why that is, how this makes you feel.does it make you feel bad in anyway, ok then think of how to change that, watch others in those situations and consider adapting or trying what they do or notice you probably lack a skill here you'd like to develop.
But if it feels right, then embrace it! For example if you rather are own your own as in this post from MorningBusGuy and asking yourself about the worth of your solitary hobbies.
The best indicator that something you do, is going to make you happy in life, is the fact that you loose track of time while doing these activities, this state of mind being totally yourself and loving what you do is called being "in the flow", only disrupted by realizations like "i'm thirsty/hungry/need to pee" or external influences.
Reaching this state indicates a lot about who you really are and how you tick. what is it that you love to do? What fascinates you and keeps you going? How do you feel about this? If you can answer those questions you will no matter what it is, never be boring talking about it - at least not for girls.
(sidenote: you actually learned something about yourself which you should put more of in your life maybe even leading to a job in that field that would result in you being really good at it. Trust me there are tons of people out there not knowing what makes them happy their entire life, you already know, that is huge!)
If you explain how you feel about something you do and what makes you love it, then, even though a girl might not be interested in the subject, she'll love the way how you are able to honestly open up and share a part of your life, along with what drives you and what makes you tick. She then might think "gross, not mine" or she might like it. you can't know in advance! But it will tell her one thing about yourself she will absolutely love, the fact that you can relate to something that way, with such emotions, tells her you could, if she wins you over, maybe as well develop such emotions for her and she probably wants to feel them.i.e Say you love doing taxes, or something considered similary boring. When asked what you do, do not tell her "meh, i doing taxes" instead tell her something like " you know, i have this thing with numbers and it feels to me like puzzeling, there are a lot of game rules to be considered and you could approach it in different ways but in the end, i just love to get the best score out of it for my clients. For i know they hate it and i love helping them out and i just can't help it but trying to get even better at it for i really makes me feel of having accomplished something."
Notice the passion? That is emotional!
And girls are emotional so just for being able to tell her, how you tick she'll like it. you gave her a feeling by telling it that way, So she recognizes you, as a guy that is able to create emotions of any sort in her, and that is what they are seeking. All that game, all those made up pick-up lines are all just constructed to do that one thing. But what you just did was actually being honest and trust me she'll recognize and like you for it. If not she then move on but the chances are high you created attraction there.
She'll know if you describe anything sexual in that way, she, even if not into it, would at least love to try it out with you. If you tell her to wear sexy thing because that makes you go "wee", she probably will, to an extent like she'll change for you to keep you close to feel you go "weee".
next time you question something about you, always check inward how you relate to it, if positive, embrace it and learn to talk about it in a manner that reflects your feelings truely and you will never have to learn pick-up lines anymore. if you can't express it, learn communication skills like charisma. if you don't know how you feel about that thing try mediation or train self-reflection. But find out what drives you and make yourself talk about it as you feel towards it and girls will recognize you as someone who can really touch her and that is (at least big part of) what they crave for.
