Last night I went to a small car meet last night. I was walking around looking at the cars and seeing the people with one of my friends but we weren’t really talking to anyone at the time. After a bit I saw a few guys looking at my car so I went over and started a conversation. I ended up talking to one guy for about 30 minutes. Surprisingly I learned a few things

1) If you just go for it and talk to the other person often time they are gonna be friendly 2) Have good body language and you’ll come off as friendly, I could tell when I started the conversation with the guy that he was comfortable around me after I kept open body language 3) Have a goal in mind when you go to talk to them, if the conversation starts to dull or have a rough start remember why you are talking to them and ask some questions about them.

TLDR: I went to a car show and struck up conversation with another guy and I learned some things about conversations with strangers. Go for it, people aren’t gonna be as unwelcoming as you think, have a goal for why you talk to them.

Hopefully this will help me get back into cold approaches (I’ve fallen away from them)
