With most women I'm OK and myself but with the ones I really like I tend to second guess myself and act silly. I get nervous, trip over my words, act foolish.
Case in point - I had an amazing first date on Saturday. The conversations were natural and flowed well. We walked, talked, ate, drank, flirted and made out in the damn bar, which is something I don't typically do. The whole date lasted 6 hours. I felt we really connected on a ton of different levels, I was honest and told her shit I don't typically talk about. So did she. We've already made plans for this Friday and made plans for the Saturday after that for skydiving. We're also chat during work over gchat.
Now, I'm finding myself really into this chick and questioning myself. Telling myself to slow the fuck down. She seems into me, just as much. I want this to go somewhere but I need to be realistic. It's been one damn date. Don't fall over a chick over one date, no matter how awesome you think she is. I'm trying to take a step back, forcing myself to stay grounded.
How do you keep yourself grounded without getting too into a chick? Any advice? Tips? Slaps in the face?
