How do you fuel emotions over text and keep a girl engaged in the spans between in person plans?

I’ve been going on dates with a girl and the chemistry is definitely there in person. Good flirty convos, kissing, sex, the whole shebang, but we’re getting to the point where dating is on the horizon and the expectation is clearly there to be talking basically daily in the days between one plan and the next.

In doing so, I find that I’m dryer over text and I’ve noticed her texting habits are shifting in a way that makes me feel she’s pulling back. Where she used to respond to me with 4 big happy texts every chance she gets (she works in healthcare with no phones during shifts so she’d always reply enthusiastically on her lunch break, immediately when she leaves work, and basically anytime I sent something while she’s unavailable, but now she’s leaving me on read for hours at a time an giving me shorter dryer responses maybe once or twice a day even tho I know she sees it as soon as she finishes shifts and takes breaks.

I know half of yall are gonna say that I should only text to make plans and not have convos over text and the other half are gonna say I shouldn’t be reading into her texting habits, but imho I’m past the point where not engaging other than setting plans is gonna fly if I want it to evolve and sadly due to anxiety I’m always gonna analyze everyone’s texting habits and notice the patterns (not just in dating but just in general with everyone).

Long story short does anyone have advice on how to get her back to being eager to respond to me and hanging on my every text like it was in the early stages instead of her clearly pulling back?

I tried taking a step back myself to see if she’d double text in my absence but she did not so I don’t think that’ll work effectively but idk.

Also, feel free to tear into me for my mindset, my paragraph spam, or whatever else you see that I should improve on. I’m not tryna become some gigachad sex machine but I def need to reorient my mindset around dating and communication and all the tangential topics that are related.
