Hey, im a pretty introverted guy, so I tend to avoid people/converstations I know aren't going to lead anywhere(platonic or not). However, when I finally meet someone that is intellectually interesting(people I find interesting), I have no problems with talking to them. So, when talking to girls I just met that i find intellectually interesting, I tend to talk way too much because I get so involved in the topics we talk about(mostly because I take the initiative), and this leads to conversations where I basically talk more than the girl im talking too. I've tried to make the conversations more about their personal lives, but even then, I always feel like I have a response to what they are saying. I'm listening to what they say, all the time, I an always remember what someone has told me, and I show interest when answering, but it leads to me talking too much still. I don't know how to filter out responses that won't progress the conversations further so I'm asking for help here. Any tips?
