This has always been my weakest area. I am great in person and I speak well but when it comes to messaging a girl over fb or phone I find the same lines don't translate as well as in person.

I like to write out in messages in relatively good English and avoid emotes. I've noticed most girls are the opposite, I don't know if I should be mirroring their language or not.

ATM the method that has worked good(but not great) has been to talk about absolutely fuck all! For example, a girl asked what I did for a living and I replied asking if she had seen the new expendables yet. When she replied no, I said 'I think I'll go see it tomorrow with some friends'. I did this to see if she assumed I was inviting her which made it a little win/win for me.

As you can see I'm pretty lost in this respect. If you have any examples that would help me get into the mindset of it all.
