It's more complicated than that. If you are getting #s from a lot of girls, you'll find that the flake rate is SUPER high. Even with good interactions where they offered you their number.

There is definitely an art to texting. I haven't found exactly what works yet... but there is a way to make her recall the emotions she felt in the moment when she decided to give you her number. It could be simple call backs to the interaction, and also just trying to say things that might help her recall what she was feeling at the time. That's why empathy is important during the interaction. So you get a sense of what she was feeling.

Of course, it's important not to over text. This does NOT mean "never double text". It's a combination of how much and over what period of time you text her. If she's on the fence about you, you will definitely turn her off by texting her too much. Sometimes you just have to shelf her for a month and then try again. You should be working other numbers in the meantime.

I can't remember who but someone said that if you're not getting a lot of flakes, then you're not going for hot enough girls. 2/3 hottest girls I've gotten out on dates were initially flakes/ghosts. Soon to be 3/4, it's looking like. So you have to be able to "work numbers" a bit or else you will lose out on a lot of potentially great girls.
