Going to keep this short. Recently divorced and work in an industry with lots of white collar, professional women. There is a girl I've met twice but never had a sustained conversation with and she apparently got giddy when a colleague told her I was divorced. Very pretty and I always got an awkward/quirky vibe from her which I like so I told my colleague to give me her number and I called her and asked her out. Said yes. Been trying the whole cocky funny thing over text this week and I get some laughs so I responded with "A woman who gets my sense of humor. Where did you come from?" She responds with "umm? venus right? Men are from Mars."

Clearly my text game is off and I need to get things back on course. How should I respond?
