I have been browsing this subreddit for a while now. All the advice that I have read has been quality, so I wanted to ask for some advice myself.

I recently started hitting Tinder and Bumble pretty hard. It has actually been going better than I thought. However, there is a recurring issue I keep running into. Whenever I ask a girl out and number close, they always want to keep texting me boring and mundane shit after I close. I work part time and go to school full time so there is usually a decent sized time gap between when I ask them out and when we meet up. It is during the time gap that this behavior usually happens.

I really despise texting, I never have a full on conversation over text. If I want to talk to someone I will call them or meet them in person. Also with my schedule, I don't have a lot of time to text about what they ate for breakfast that morning. It's also pretty clear that this is attention seeking behavior that I don't want to engage in.

I have approached this situation in many different ways. It usually ends in me giving up and ignoring them, or them ghosting me because I'm sure as hell not dropping what I'm doing to give them attention every day of the week. I have come to a couple of conclusions. I either wait until a time slot opens up and ask them out a couple of days before that. Or I just cut it off clean as soon as this behavior occurs. It might help to know that I'm doing this mainly to put myself out there, gain some experience, and for casual hookups. If I was looking for a gf I would 100 percent cut them off before I meet up with them.
