I wanted to share a little something that I started to do recently that has made a difference in my texting conversations with girls. As guys, we are usually expected to lead the conversation - but this does not mean we have to continue it until it ends or she stops responding.

I have begun to make it a point to always have HER send the last message, instead of me. This does 2 things: 1. It leaves her thinking that she needs to continue the conversation, since you did not reply to her last text. 2. Shows that you are not the only one pushing the conversation, but instead pulling her back into it and making her be thoughtful and contributive.

So far, this approach has changed my demeanor from pushing a girl into a date, to making her push me into it. And when she is the one making the suggestion, there is very little chance that she will bail.
