So wanted to get your guy's opinion on this. I have been texting this girl over the past week. Currently I am out of the country and we have about a 10 hour time difference between us. We are both students at the same college as well. I will not be able to see her again until after summer and I want make a move when she gets back. About a week ago I IM her on Snap and because of the time difference and the fact I don't get data where I am we can only respond about once or twice a day. It has almost become a routine.

Strangely enough, this has been one of the best conversations I have had with her. Here is my theory, this delay in texting does two things.

  1. It shows that I have a life outside of her and that shows that I am not needy or dependent on her.
  2. I'm not annoying by constantly texting her since I know she has a life.
