As a child, I moved around many times. My parents never let me spend time with other children much. To make it worse, it took me a while to learn English. As you can imagine, I became very socially awkward. People avoided me the first two years of high school. My stuttering, my appearance and my personality were extremely retarded and pretty beta.
The good side was that being alone let me teach myself programming, hacking, a shitload of science and so much more. I was a pretty smart kid, and that was the only thing going for me.
Junior year of highschool, after a lot of issues going on in my life, I decided I need to change. But I didn't know how. And then I discover reddit, and ultimately this subreddit.
Reading through here, there was so much I learned. I learned to stand up straight, to workout, to talk to people, to be confident. I removed my stutter, learned how to dress, to talk, to express my ideas. In fact, I joined my class committee, prom committee, and my student body. People really like me now.
I made a lot of female friends, but really I'm more happy about the fact that you guys helped improve my future. Originally I just wanted to finish college and live a normal life. But now I'm confident enough to study hard and get into business and live to my potential. I'll be in college in a few months and It'll be a great experience for me now.
So I seriously like to thank you all for teaching me so much and improving my life and my future! It means a lot to me.
PS: This is a new account I made not so long ago. Just letting you guys know so nobody says I'm lying about being here since my junior year.
