I want to share my experience yesterday and get some feedback/suggestions. Here is how the day went.…

I woke up feeling pretty rested and decided to get dressed nicely for the member appreciate day event that was being held at my gym. I felt that I woke up a little taller that day and was really happy with the clothes I was wearing. I grab some breakfast and leave. I bump some new tunes my buddy burned on a cd, blaze and drive over. Once I arrived they had, food, free giveaways, Miss Tapout (Jennifer Swift), and some fights. My goal was to talk to Miss Tapout and get a picture with her.

I ended up standing behind her waiting for the tacos to cook. One of the gym owners introduced her on the Mic and said who she was and that people should meet her. Afterwards I said “Hi, I’d like to take my picture with you sometime later.” She agreed and smiled and moved her hair. I considered this and IOI and it gave me a boost of confidence. +3exp or whatever it amounts to. Although it was brief it was good practice for me to talk to hot girls. I always found myself that I can talk to girls but not really hot ones. With my recent break up with a long term gf, I made it my goal to be with attractive intelligent girls (sexually and non sexually; hopefully sexually).

After eating I watch the fights they held. I won a shirt, a beanie and a free 3 week membership through some raffles and giveaways. This was awesome because I felt my day kept getting better. It all started off because I said in my head “it’s going to be a good day.” I think I need to do that more.

After winning the 3 week member ship I ask for my picture with Miss Tapout. I got really red in the cheeks for some reason but walked off happy. I haven't gotten red in front of girls in forever! Anyway, my picture started a wave of other people to get their picture as well.

After the picture, I talk to this little kid that has also won a prize and about the pictures we got with Miss Tapout. All of the sudden this girl and her friend come over to us. One of the girls is someone that I found very attractive but never talked her in my life. She is hot/cute Hispanic girl that is super fit. She comes to me and starts talking to me! I find myself sometimes clueless with IOIs but I’m pretty sure this is an IOI.

This is how the interaction went:

She asks if she can get my 3 week pass that I just won. I said I’ll have her buy it from me for $30. She retorts and says she can find it cheaper on groupon. I tease her and tell her she should just do that. She says she can’t anymore and I tell her that’s too bad. At this point I’ve finally learned her name and meet her friend. I try to give more attention to the friend and ask her more personal questions to help myself from feeling to giddy with the girl I like. The girl I likes tells me she’ll give me her phone number and buy me a drink. HOLY SHIT! This is definitely an IOI right!? But at the same time I thought she was just using me to get these gym passes. She seems to be a natural flirt and I felt like I was getting used. The reason I thought this is because she hardly kept eye contact/smiled/made any nervous gestures. I made Miss Tapout smile/keep eye contact and make a nervous gesture but not this girl.

At this time I’m trying to compose my banter and my already blushing face. I talk to her friend and give her interest and try to seem cool about it all. I go back to the girl I like and countered offered she give me $10 and her number and owe me drinks. She agrees and hands me the $10. IOI? She offers that we get drinks there and then but I refuse because I said I have a Judo class that I need to go to. ( This was pretty key I think because usually I would have said yeah and go but my pre-obligation might have saved me).

She sends me a text of her number but I have no reception at the time so I said my good byes and left. After my class I get 8 messages from her saying the same thing. I played this off and tease her that her phone is overzealous.

H: “Hey it’s ____” (x8) 2:46pm

M: Your phone’s overzealous. I got 8 texts saying the same thing! 6:28pm

H: Lol oops 8:34pm

M: Don’t start thinking you own that 3 week pass yet 10:15pm

H: Lol I want my ten dollars back 10:16pm

M: Ok but I get to keep your number and still get drinks 10:28pm

H: I get my ten bucks back. You buy the drinks. And everyone is happy 10:30pm

M: Swindle and sly. You use your brains instead of fists. Im not scare of you but ill think about it 10:36pm

I don’t want to botch this so I’m asking for advice/opinions/tips. I also have a 2nd date with this other girl today so I’m keeping my options open. I find it easier that I can make moves with girls that attainable but when I talk to more attractive girls but when Itry to play it as they are not hot; I tend to act like a dick (which is something I don’t want to do).
