I call this The Confidence Theorem.

Picture a line like this. This is your life if you DON'T talk to the girl (zero confidence to talk to her), your life stays along this line, nothing changes, no new experiences, your life keeps going without her in it.

Now this is the tangent your life takes when you have the confidence to talk to the girl. She comes into your life either briefly for seconds to 5 minutes or stays for a few weeks to 40 years. Your life is now in an alternate timeline/universe based on your willingness to go up and say hello. Where before your life continued on the straight line without this girl, now it rides on a universe thanks to having THAT little confidence to talk to the girl. A timeline where anything can happen with this girl. You can't read her mind but just think...Maybe she knows your friends, maybe she had a crush on you since high school, maybe deepdown she wants to drink coffee with someone, maybe she likes to talk to strangers, maybe she's new in town and alone, maybe she wants to have fun with a guy for a day.

You shouldn't assume a girl doesn't want to be talked to. There are endless possibilities that can happen if you just have a little confidence.

Now imagine all the girls you see and how many times this happens to you in a day.
