So I work at a food lion, and there's this girl that always came in and talked to me. She's a cute blonde about a 6.5-7, really nice. So the other day I get bold and actually got her number and asked her out to dinner. So I txt her the night before the date and asked her if we're going the next day. She says yes and that she's excited, Mexicans her favorite. So I txt her that afternoon and literally takes forever to respond and said she wont be free till later. So went dinner plans. We reschedule to hangout the following day and go get frozen yogurt. I call her and no response. So then I'm just like well fuck it I guess. Couple days go by and I accidentally bump into her at my apartment pool, I don't bring up the date part to avoid awkwardness. But she tells me she dropped her phone in the pool a couple days ago and had to get a new one, and she didn't have my number anymore. In my mind I'm like "suuuuure" but I let it be. So we're hanging at the pool having a good time and I get a little drunk and said fuck it maybe she was telling the truth. So I ask her to hang again that Friday, she agrees but she said her parents are coming into town that day. So Friday gets here I txt her telling her I'm out of class and to let me know when she's free. She txts me a couple hours later and says her parents just got there but they should leave by 5. I say ok and go to the library to work on stuff to pass time. She never got back to me. By then I'm kinda pissed, and said I'm done with her. So I didn't talk to her for like a week and then she txts me and asks me to come hang with her at the pool later. It threw me off guard that she asked me to hang, so I say why not. I get some beer then head to the pool. We're hanging out and it's great, we're flirting and I'm making jokes. It was awesome. So I asked her what she was doing later tonight, she said she's free.
