We have been developing the approval-seeking mentality for a long time.

You exercise it when you tell your father how well you did on the exam, you exercise it when you tell your grandparents how well you behaved, you exercise it at all times.

I'm not telling you not to do it, I'm just telling you to be aware of when you are seeking approval from other people (not just girls). Ironically, when you become aware of these behaviors, you have more freedom to choose between continuing or stopping.

I explain. When you do something that seems incredible to you in your life, such as passing an exam or getting your first client, you will have a need to tell your parents or close people about it. Now try not to do it, at least a few days keep that achievement for yourself.

After a few days you can tell them. This will lead you to a mindset where self-reliance will increase and your approval is the only important one. Your self-steem will increase also.

I have been developing this mentality for the last 2 years and now I will tell you the before and after of its influence.

Before: With any girl I knew I would fall in love very quickly, even if I got to know her on the Internet, and it was a nuisance for me, I was even afraid of meeting women. I got to a point where I met a girl in a video game and ended up "falling in love" a month later, my mentality was very detrimental.

Now: I don't care if a girl answers me or not, I don't care if a girl starts ghosting me. And not only with the girls, but also with the people around me, every achievement I have I keep to myself, although from time to time I have the pleasure of telling my parents and enjoying a little of that approval.

Sorry for my english, peace.
