Hi Seddit, I've been a big "gamer" for the last few years, and I only started reading reddit when I came across this wonderous land of Seddit. As I've read a lot of PUA books over the years one common theme comes up quite a lot and that is clothing. All of them suggest where nice clothing, and unique clothing, but they don't tell you exactly what to look for.

The first thing I recommend is finding clothes that is FORM FITTING. I took a lot of time to talk to girls about this one and I got the same response, "Wear clothes that fit you." It should be a given, but a lot of guys buy shirts either way to big, or way to small. I personally have a skinny frame, so I wear skinny jeans, and long sleeve shirts that don't sag. Remember that if you are on the larger side, horizontal stripes will make you look larger, and vertical stripes will make you look slimmer. Remember this because clothes can add or optical weight.

The next thing I learned was from a conversation I had with a girl who a major fashionista. I knew her in high school and she was not very attractive, but as she started learning fashion, she slowly started looking better. The first thing she told me was, "I think that people should dress towards the era that they looked best." Not meaning that you should go around dressing like dapper dan, but look back to a time when your body style, face type was the hot thing. See how they dressed to be attractive and emulate it with modern clothing.

The last thing I will say (and can think of) is that your favorite color might not be the right color for you. Girls love seeing beautiful eyes. What if you have pretty average eyes? Well what you should do is complement your eyes with your clothes and hair. Simply adding color around you can intensify the color of your eyes. Here are some helpers: Light blue you should have darker hair, and wear dark blues, or reds. Dark blue you should have darker hair and wear browns, or neutral colors (grey, pastels) Hazel you should wear greens browns and neutral colors Brown you should wear brown, and reds.

The last thing to compliment your body and look is LEARN BODY LANGUAGE. This has been one of the most amazing tools I ever learned. It helped me with girls, friends, and jobs.

TL;DR Clothing does not replace confidence, but it sure is a great tool to looking great.
