I feel like a lot of guys are advised to generally have confidence around girls, but I'm noticing that it needs to be specific. For example, there's two guys that I know (from other people) that they are interested in me, and one of them is a very confident seeming, loudly spoken, funny, leader type guy, but he really lacks the skill to direct that confidence towards me, he often joins in conversations I'm in but he has barely approached me/spoken to me one on one. The other guy is more laid back, confident but not obviously, and he has deliberately instigated conversation with me lots of times, and we have bonded really well (as friends) in a really short space of time. Basically my point is just being generally confident doesn't really do much for you guys and I think being specific with when and where you apply this confidence has much better results. Sorry if this is obvious but I hadn't realized it before! Feel free to share your thoughts on this or ask advice.
