A little about myself: Life was a complete mess, overweight, lack of confidence, played video games all day until 2 years ago, when I committed hard to self improvement, dropped 40 lbs in the span of 8 months and committed hard to updating my wardrobe, advancing in my career, and cold approaching women. I have a very logical mind so one of my biggest sticking points is looking too stiff in an interaction and being stuck in my own head. I'm not the best looking guy in the world but I do have the discipline and sheer determination to go after what I want and not let go until I get it. Right now, my goal is to get good enough with women to be able to pull a new girl home on every night out. I am willing to sacrifice anything including my soul to achieve this and while I am getting closer and closer (actually consistently pulling girls to my doorstep every night now), there's still a lot that I need to work on and I really think that the no-nonsense experts in this community can open me up to my blindspots.

Field Report Worked until 9pm and decided to grab dinner and then run some game on some random girls in the street and at the bar on Thursday night. I’ve been using the same opener over and over again with shitty results so I decided to try something new that I came up with. My old opener was “Hey, excuse me, I thought you were really cute and I had to come over and say Hi.” This would either get a warm reception 20-50% of the time or a straight, go away vibe. My new opener is going up to them directly, getting into their personal space and saying “I really shouldn’t be here right now, you need to tell me to leave before I get myself in trouble”. Usually, I get a confused look, to which I say, “I’m very shy and don’t know how to talk to girls, I’m afraid I’m going to screw up if this continues much longer”

1st girl was an Indian woman just sitting down on a side ledge waiting for her UBER. I decided to approach her by sitting down right next to her and delivering my lines. She responded decently well, opening up about how she just moved to my city but I think I lost her when she told me she had a husband and I said, “I see, so it would be a very bad idea for me to continue…” and she nodded and I decided to leave

2nd girl was a blonde woman from a bar who I noticed sitting by herself and just sat down next to her and delivered my same opener. She also opened up and said she came all the way from Wisconsin, which is where I was raised, just going out by herself tonight, had to help a friend move. She was in decent shape so I teased her about her muscles a bit and she opened up, saying how the moving guys were so slow compared to her. I lost her after we started discussing careers and she said she was a technology teacher for an elementary school, who didn’t seem to click with my businessman vibe. She excused herself shortly afterwards and said she was going to the next bar while grabbing my arm a bit. Not sure if I should have followed or not but I didn’t.

3rd girl was a slightly chubby girl I approached on the street who said she worked as a burlesque dancer. Super cool girl and she seemed to be responding well but her two friends showed up and while she introduced me as her new friend that she made, I could tell something was off and she said “well it was very nice meeting you” shortly afterwards as well, prompting me to bounce.

4th-6th girls were just not interested from the opener, and they were walking around, so they obviously had somewhere to go. 7th girl was at a bar and she was obviously getting ready to leave, I saw a guy waiting and decided to go for it anyways since I didn’t know if he was with her or not. Turns out he was.

8th girl was a Middle Eastern girl I met at the street corner right outside the bar and I used my same opener. She opened up but the conversation was way too logical. We started talking history since she’s a history major and she just started sharing all these opinions about historical events like how killing native americans was a genocide by the US government. Every time I touched her, she seemed uncomfortable and the conversation just never opened up beyond history. I don’t know what I could have done differently, but even though she was friendly, I didn’t bother to ask for her number afterwards because it didn’t seem like it would go anywhere.

9th girl was another cute Indian girl with her hair dyed silver. I approached in a really creepy way and grabbed her elbow from behind but after delivering my opener and apologizing for startling her, she actually stayed in conversation. It was getting late so I told her that I had to go back home soon and wouldn’t be able to talk too long and she actually opened up. The conversation was smooth from here on out and she was laughing and having a good time. Seemed to gain extra brownie points by randomly guessing random facts about her like which part of India she’s from and where she grew up correctly. I number closed in a pretty awkward way but results are results. It was pretty much, “hey, I already spent way too much time and I really do have to get going: So… on a scale of 1-10, how bad of an idea would it be for us to see each other again, 1 being like… I dunno, death, 10 being cure for cancer or some shit like that”. She was like, “I don’t think that’s a bad idea at all” and I got her number shortly afterwards, hugged her goodbye and went home. I texted her an hour after I got back and we have a date set up.

Overall, I need more tips on how I can get to the next level. Been lifting, working on my business, and cold approaching every day. Need some advice to get to the next level with women. Harsh criticism is encouraged.
