Hi Seddit, I'm new to the game and having a blast so far. I went out for the first time last Thursday with a wing I met online and had a great time, we opened a bunch of sets, had some great conversations and also some bad rejections, it was a lot of fun. We decided to go out again the following night but we didn't get into the bar till after 11. By this time the venue was so loud that I could hardly hear what my wing was saying. I tried opening a set non-verbally but it didn't go very well. My question is, how do you deal with situations like this? Should I avoid places like this all together? It seems like all the bars in my town get louder and louder as the night progresses making conversation impossible. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
