Hey guys so I moved to Germany for an exchange program this winter. I have been having some real trouble in the women field. I don't know if it is because I'm that weird American, the fact that they aren't used to my advances or I just fucking something up. Is there any different socially acceptable ways in different cultures to flirt or what's your experience with meeting girls out of your country? I'm ok at the language but far from fluent so it's really hard to hold a conversation that is not a mixture of both English and German luckily most people speak really good English.

EDIT: Ok so here's my additional information that was asked for. So most of the time I try to talk to girls in the club I can normally say hi and start a small conversation without too much trouble. When I either ask them to dance or go for some other type of kino it becomes really weird. Is like the girls just don't do kino here. I usually get tripped up because of this then fumble on the recovery. Maybe I'm doing the kino wrong and I read a post on here since the last time of tried it and I will try again. My approach isn't anything special so maybe I should fix that or should I direct the conversation in a way. Also as far as the German to English it's always a little weird starting out in German then like 3 or 4 sentences in saying hey do you speak English I'm from America and don't speak really good German.
