I've been lurking on seddit for quite a while now, but I think it's time for me to make my first post and admit something. I simply don't have the courage to approach girls that I find attractive. I've read enough to understand the basic theory of seduction, and have watched plenty of videos (LAWF, Simple Pickup, etc.). I just can't overcome the hurdle of approach anxiety and actually acting on my urges. I know I'm attractive because girls flirt with me very frequently at work (I work as a barista) yet I never am able to capitalize on this.

I think part of my problem is that I very much sympathize with feminist ideas, and have many friends who are feminist. I absolutely despise the idea of coming off as misogynistic or disrespectful. I've just listened to too many conversations about street harassment to feel totally comfortable approaching a girl just walking about doing her business. Doesn't this happen to her constantly throughout the day? Why do I need to subject her to even more of this constant assault? I understand me having these thoughts implies that I'm already one step ahead, but this idea is a huge part of what's holding me back. I'm active on tinder/OkCupid, but as an asian guy with not a great job I haven't had all that much success.

I think I just need the support/push from you guys to get over this thing and actually start talking to girls that I find attractive.
