Just for backstory, the girl I took out was the girl I met here:

Basically we went mini-golfing. She was very bubbly, and cutesy, and there wasn't any moments that really stood out as awkward. It flowed pretty well, and we kind of ride on similar conversation vibes.

She seemd like she enjoyed herself. She made it a point to tell me how she doesn't usually go on dates, and emphasized how my idea of mini-golf was a great idea, and how it was a great way to spend her night. All unprovoked spontaneous comments from her.

I tried a lot of kino but she pulled back on a lot of it which I thought was a bit odd. She pretty much straight up said "We don't really know eachother that well". Guess I didn't build enough comfort?

I did go for a hand hold when walking her to her car. She stopped walking and kind of looked at me quizzically when I went for it. I just looked her in the eyes and smiled, and we interlocked fingers and continued conversation as usual. (And if you skipped the field report, we actually held hands the first time we met on the cold approach. So this was the second time.)

We got to the car and knowing everything that I did, I kind of felt a bit reluctant to go for a kiss. But when we hugged she commented on how I smelled nice. I kind of pulled her closer and said she smelled nice too, and suddenly we were like right in front of each others face, like our lips half an inch away. Then she pulled back and was like "Oh that was slick" and we laughed about it and said goodbye.

No awkwardness or anything, just can't really tell for sure where I stand. The impression I get is that there's some level of attraction but she's just not entirely comfortable with me yet. Is this just a matter of building more comfort with her?

Also, what would you guys recommend to follow up with? I was going to wait a few days, see if she texts me. I felt if she did, that's be a pretty clear IOI. If not though, what would you guys say is best?

And at the very least: Cheers for my first Cold Approach turned into a date. (Where the girl KNEW it was a date and not a friend hang out) Progress right?
