This is like a Field Report since I did it yesterday, but if you are into the messaging system to talk with girls (inb4 voice calling masterrace) I recommend trying this at least once.

So I was talking to a girl through text messaging a couple of days ago and at the same time she says "hi" on facebook as well for some reason. I kind of left it since I'm already talking to her through texting so she couldn't really get upset if I don't reply to her.

But a couple of days later I used it to start a fb conversation to talk to her, while I was already talking to her through text messaging. The fun side kicked in and so I began to pretended both her fb account and her number were two different people.

Basically the role her facebook account played was a really close person I was speaking to about "this really awesome girl I know", and her phone number's role was the "awesome" girl mentioned.

The initial aim for doing this is to speak to her about her as if the conversation is with you and another person about her (even though she is that other person). It'll give her that feeling that she is eavesdropping on a conversation about her, then talk to her about that conversation through another messaging system... Might sound confusing but it's fun if you can make a great act & script to play with.

I get up at 4am every morning for work and she texts me when I get up to wish me a good morning nearly every morning, just because she's usually awake at that time as well. So when I finally replied to her fb message I said:

"Oh hey! Sorry for the late reply, I've been talking to this really awesome girl I know and completely forgot to message you back, how are you?? :)"

She didn't know who I was talking about at first and questioned the said girl so I had to act quick. I then sent her a text and said:

"Haha you wont believe how long I accidentally didn't reply to a facebook private message to someone, nearly five days! I'm such an idiot -_-"

Then my reply on fb to her asking about the girl:

"Yeah she's really swell, she sometimes messages me in the morning at like 4am to say good morning and it always puts a smile on my face! "

She caught on at this point. I just kept the conversations about me being appreciative of her dedication to texting me at such an ungodly hour of the day and how great I think she is for doing it, but there's all sorts of things you can do with this. It's just a matter of imagination. She even text'd me asking if I like this girl on fb (I was trying for her fb role to message that instead but hey I'm not arguing with the results).
