Dating: you are good enough to date

Women can exist either or both dimensions at the same time. This means that any app is good for hookups.

Hinge is specifically an app marketing itself as being the "dating app designed to be deleted". It's focused on creating "lasting connections" and relationships. Not hookups. Most people on Hinge chose Hinge specifically because they DON'T want hookups.

That said, some people don't give a shit about this and manage to have success hooking up repeatedly by hiding their intentions and playing the deceiving game.

If you want to be more honest and real about hooking up, use Tinder instead and select "looking for short-term fun" as what you're looking for to display on your profile. You'll get fewer matches but BETTER matches who are much more likely to be cool with hook-ups. So if getting enough matches is not much of an issue for you - I would choose this path.
