My gf is taking me to Paris for 5 days for us to spend valentines there together with our toddler. I’m at a loss since she is paying for the whole trip and hotel and even “gave” me some extra money for the upcoming trip. Very generous but feels like a setup, like she indirectly wants me to do something or get her something to reciprocate. What should I do fellas? (She’s a doctor and I am self-employed so she has money not me) I feel like a card and chocolates is no where near enough but I am also never gonna take a knee and propose either. Is there a middle ground? How do I show I am grateful without underwhelming or overcommitting to her?
