I've recently come to grips with the fact that I have a underlying need for validation. I feel like it affects how and what I say to people. I don't constantly try to get others approval, but I feel like it bothers me a bit too much when I feel like someone doesn't like me and I go out of my way and come across as needy, as I strive to figure out what there problem with me is. I also feel like I'm concerned with people's perception of me. I used to be big on self-improvement and change but looking back I feel like it was more to conform to other people's standards so they liked me better. I kind of realized it when my homie was acting strange toward me and he ended up asking me "why you acting like a woman?" Kind of surprised me but made sense. I was acting all needy and shit. How would one get out of that mindset? I want to be fine with others opinions if me and stop being such a needy little bitch.
