You’re putting her too high on a pedestal.

Your just patching yourself out before the virtual date has even begun. You need to realize that you are also trying to see if she’s compatible for you, if YOU like her.

Once you get that out of the way just relax, get comfortable in a well lit area of your place and set up some vocal points around your background for conversation (posters, paintings, tv, collectibles, etc.)

I usually start my dates with a conversation beforehand so when the call goes there’s already a topic leading and I don’t have to think about it.

Ex.

“Hey I’ll call you in 5 minutes, I’m ______.”

“Oh yeah, how did _______ go yesterday? No way, hold on I’ll give you a call.”

Or you can just go straight into the call, but make sure you’re not giving her a question are interview like the 1000s of other guys trying to talk to her. Get to know her from the inside (emotional connection) [why does she do this? Why does she feel this way? How can I relate? What influenced her decision?]

Another idea is to find her taste in music and swap song recommendations. Play them and get each other’s reactions, this will create a vibe and will be a huge ice breaker.

Just don’t overthink it, have fun!
