I would like to get into the mode of approaching women. But I feel like the hurdle for me of doing so is really high. Therefore, I was planning to go through the following steps.

  1. Go up to women I find attractive and ask for the time or way to somewhere (something non-committal).
  2. When I feel comfortable doing that, additionally try to make a bit of small-talk, maybe light jokes.
  3. After I feel comfortable with that, get flirty and go for the number.

Through that, I try to lower the hurdle a bit and focus more on the process. Any thoughts?
