Long story short:

Went out with girl that was chasing me a while back. She seems interested, we made out etc. didn’t really feel like fucking her because she said a couple weird things, which I will list:

  1. Showed up saying she had to leave soon, so I decided to just cook cuz she was already over and I’m not trying to really be a bitch and take her out for free drinks as she admittedly has mad dudes all over her

  2. We’re a part of the same social group and I knew guys who bugged when she turned them down. When we made out, she says “I wonder how you would react if I “let’s just be friend” you?” I ignored it, just said I wouldn’t really act like the kid bugging.

  3. Also asked what I was looking for. Kinda deflected but wasn’t necessarily untrue (said “I just play by ear” which isn’t even playing her, genuinely didn’t know if I wanted to pursue her like that

  4. Said I remind her so much of her ex. Find out not only does dude have the same name as me, but incredibly similar interests and look wise (no joke, I can use this kid’s ID no problem. He isn’t around, we all live in Hawaii rn)

After we hung out, she texted me asking about my dietary restrictions so I was like “aight guess she’s still down”. Couple days later hit her up but she said she was mad busy so I just deleted the number and stopped hitting her up.

Little over a month later, we see each other again at a fire dancing group we are a part of. She wasn’t really flirty, but caught her looking at me a few times and she was laughing at some jokes. Hit her up the other day, get left on read.

Not really trying to get with this girl anymore because she seems exhausting and pretty manipulative, just want a little adjustment to my game.

Main questions:

  1. Should I have just pushed past the “I’m busy” and made plans anyway?

  2. Did I indirectly ghost this girl? She never hit me up again so I just assumed she was on someone else or wasn’t that into me?

  3. Is this a kind of retaliation because I didn’t try to fuck right away, and she’s upset cuz she’s used to dudes chasing and I just don’t do that?
