So I’ve known this dude for 13 years. We used to occasionally get together, I then ended up in a 10 year relationship now I’m out and we’re banging again. Literally all we do is text and hook up (about every 6 weeks). Our texting is like, we ask each other for random advice and each others opinions. Like anything from what flavor cupcakes we should bring for work parties to some of the deepest things. “Sexing” I guess you would call it but like I’m not much of a nude sender, or a sex talker. Part of me thinks he’s “emotionally unavailable” and is actually trying to open up because sometimes he hints things or at least he seems to. The other part of me says he doesn’t give a shit and I should just get out now. Being someone who has been there for me and in a way supported me and listened to me bitch about my ex cheating on me every time it would happen, I really just want more. But I also know if I tell him that he will disappear. But I also know he isn’t very ballsy and doesn’t tell me what he wants. How do I go about letting him know I’m interested in doing a little bit more then just going straight to the bedroom when we hang out, without scaring him away.
