** A bit of background info ** 24 year old male, spent most of my life as an AFC. I'm a bit of a late bloomer, had my first kiss at age 18, and didn't lose my virginity until I was in my 20's. I always had problems with indecisiveness, approach anxiety, and one-itis. However, as I've got older I've slowly got better at talking to women, and as of about a year ago I've been slowly breaking out of the cycle I was trapped in before.

Recently I've read Models by Mark Manson (fantastic book), and I'm currently powering through No More Mr Nice Guy, and the Suble Art of Not Giving a Fuck.

Where I'm at now * Dropped the whole one-itis thing. I've realized that there are truly plenty of fish in the sea. One girl will make you feel some way, there will be another girl who will make you feel that exact same way, if not an even better way, down the road somewhere. * Now I'm being more direct about my intentions. I make it known as soon as possible and escalate as soon as possible. * I separate all the females (non-family) in my life into categories: platonic and non-platonic. Not only has this helped me to cut out the women in my life who I'm wasting time with, it's also improving my relationships with women in general (platonic or otherwise) * Less afraid to put my needs first * Coming to terms with my insecurities instead of denying or running away from them * That I need to work on myself just as much as I need to work on getting better with girls. I've noticed that as I work on myself my confidence goes up, and girls just seem to naturally feel more comfortable talking to me. * Lost almost 30lbs, changed up my hairstyle and wardrobe. This has given me bucketloads of confidence here, and a noticeable increase in female attention. * Understanding that not every girl will pan-out, but at the same time that I can't give up. I just have to keep my head up and keep going at it. * I've largely stopped being an overthinker who reads into every little thing a girl does trying to find out what she means. * Before I used to always imagine what being in a LTR or marriage with the girl would be like, her meeting my family, moving in together, making big plans, etc. In layman terms I would be focused on the end result. Now I'm shifting my focus more onto the dating process itself.

What I need to improve on * Approaching! I've never really had a problem with actually talking to girls, I'm still terrible when it comes to approaching. For me it's still very much a situational thing: there are some situations where I've approached completely at random with success, but in most situations I still find it very awkward. * I need to find other venues of meeting girls other than bars/clubs. I've been getting into salsa dancing lately, but I'm looking for even more ideas. Not just to find girls, but to broaden my horizons overall. * Even now I feel like sometimes I still give off "friend vibes" too much.

Overall I I've come a long way in the past year or so, but even then I still believe I have leaps and bounds to go at becoming a better at seduction. Any feedback and tips are greatly appreciated, thanks!
