So there’s a girl in one of my classes who I’ve talked to a little bit during they year. Yesterday she said hi on insta and we had a little convo. She asked how I was doing and I did the same. I sent her a question and then she responded at night that day. Today around noon I replied and we talked a little bit. Then I had 5th period with her and we said goodbye at the end of class. She just sent another “hi” on insta and we talked about what we were doing. I then asked her what school her boyfriend goes to and she tells me that they broke up. I say “can I take his place” and she asks if I’m serious and says no I dint want a relationship anymore. I say sorry and tell her that she is very attractive. She then says “ok. Bye see you tmro”. To which I reply “bye”.

What should I do or what could I have done?
