I've had this happen to two times lately. Women staring at me with a kind of superior almost mean look. I'm not sure what they hell that actually means or what she's thinking, but here's the thing, I was kind of very loosely social interacting with with this girl at my job today, and she was kind of nice, she touched me (just in a friendly way) and asked me to help her with stuff, we kept a nice tone between us. Then I go talk to this other girl while she's watching, and she(the girl who's watching, and i was talking to first) gives me this look I'm talking about. Almost this mean superior look, like 'ugh, what are you doing', eyebrows 'overly raised' if that explains the look any better, or to put it in another way - feeling sorry in a fake vicious way. Not like I gave a fuck about the look, although immediately you think "wtf is she giving me that look, we just had a genuine little social interaction earlier".
And then later she smiles (and this time her intention seems good again) and say good bye and shit, and were seemingly back to friendly or flirty.
Is this stare some kind of vague 'shit test' to see if I will flinch or react in a bad way? I'm glad to say I have the sense of self-worth to not react to that though.
It also happened one time earlier with a women a bit older... I was just sitting there working, she suddenly gave me this stare, but when I sit next to hear working later there's none of that vibe at all.
