It is when a girl gives you shit in order to test your confidence and strength of character. If you are faking you will fail a shit test by apologizing or qualifying yourself to her.
Examples would be a girl pretending to be offended by a joke to see if you crumble. Or a comment like "I bet you say that to all the girls". The wrong way to respond to that would be saying 'I don't talk to other girls. I promise its just you". The correct way would be to either spin it into a compliment ("I'm delighted that you think hundreds of girls want to talk to me") OR to agree and exaggerate it extremely to make it ridiculous ("Oh sure. Hundreds. Thousands even. I've found that it works best on elderly babes and handsome bearded men")
In that way it seems like the shit she gave you didn't bother you in the slightest.

it's when women check for inconsistencies and insecurities in a man. women want a solid and authentic man. those tests are simply to see if he is worth her time, because the last thing she would want to do is waste it.
