Dates get rescheduled all the time because life happens, but do you have any rules for when you don't reschedule.

For example tonight I was supposed to meet up with a girl whose number I got like 2 weeks ago (first date). Its getting close to 7 and she lets me know she's in traffic coming back to the city and asks if we can push it to a little later. Sure no problem I have some things I need to do anyway. 7:30 rolls around and she asks to reschedule because she got a new pet today and it isn't getting along with the one she already has. At this point I'm a little peeved and she offers tomorrow night at 9 to meet up. 9 feels really late for someone that has to be out of bed by 6am.

Basically I'm pretty turned off to seeing her, but I'm curious if I'm just peeved or if its genuinely a bit inconsiderate to cancel last minute like this and propose such an odd time to reschedule. Would you reschedule this or what sort of rules do you have on when if someone cancels you just let things die?
