Hello all, I've been on this sub a lot lately and it's been pretty beneficial. I've followed all the advice I've gotten so far. I've really cleaned myself up, I'm fit now and comfortable with my body which feels AMAZING. I'm now starting to figure out how to talk to random strangers. Talking to girls that I don't know has gotten waaaaayyyyy easier now that I don't give a shit what they think and understand that I should only be talking to them for legitimate conversation. This is all good and well, but I still haven't gotten any numbers. I don't try to get the number of every girl I approach, but the ones I would want to get numbers from, I always fail. I can talk to them just fine, but I have no idea how to take it to the next step... I guess what I'm saying is that I don't know how to flirt with strangers yet... I don't know how to guide the conversation in that direction... How do you start creating flirty dialog and such? I was talking to this girl earlier today and we were having a good conversation that was as back and forward as I would've hopped for. Then I ask if she wanted to get a drink sometime and she dawned this offputting sort of look and rejected me. I feel like she wouldn't have if I had asked her out in a better way... What can I take away from this situation? Did I fail? If so, what steps should I take to change how I escalate?
