This has been a rule of mine for quite some time now but when I was younger I was obsessed with learning and getting better at attracting women so I would talk about it a lot. During nights out this would end up prolonging the time before I had to make my first approach that night. Eventually I realized that each time I spent discussing game while I was out I had little to no success, however when I just put my head down and focused on being present to the moment in my interactions I would have success.

My reaction to this was to completely stop analyzing and just be myself when I went out. I was able to bring a girl home every now and then and get numbers and dates from this but I felt as if I was not improving at all. To solve this problem I began writing about how my nights out went AFTER the night was over. I wrote down what happened, what I learned, and most of all what my key takeaways were. This allowed me to relax when I was out but also reflect and improve once the night was over.

Since my reports were way too long to read again the key takeaways I wrote at the bottom of every report (2-3 sentences) was all I ever reviewed. Reviewing these eventually became my fundamentals of game. Once I had reviewed them enough times they became part of who I was and I never needed to look at them again. I would highly encourage people to implement this method.

In short I think that reflecting on your night out and then summarizing the main takeaways for you to review later is the best way to improve through this, at times, frustrating process that we are all going through.
