Because people go out at night for the purpose of having fun and meeting someone.

They go out during the day because they have errands to run.

Generally not a whole lot of people out during the day. Especially week days. But depends on the time of the year and your location.

Just a piece of advice, when you're going out during the day, go out with the intent that you're just going out to have a good time by yourself. Because if your primary goal is to pick up chicks, you'll just end up getting frustrated and feel like you're wasting your time. Go to places that you enjoy that align with your interests, such as art galleries, cooking classes or whatever. You're more likely to pick up chicks with something in common that way.

Start hitting up coffee shops on week days at like noon, and especially Saturday and Sunday morning. Go there start reading a book, do some work on your computer, and if you spot a good looking chick hit her up. Look up on Google to see when businesses to see when people are more likely to shop/eat or whatever.

I feel like day games are a little more casual. The settings are more quiet, and the environment is a little bit more relaxed. I don't have a whole of experience with the night game though. I don't have friends who are 21 really. I guess going out alone is pretty normal though at bars and clubs but.
