Nothing wrong with being geeky, if you own it right it can come off as attractive if it shows you are passionate about something. But snapchat is not the place to be having a conversation...
You should be trying to stimulate a more fun/carefree interaction between you and the girl over snapchat. Send dumb faces, videos of you out doing stuff, videos of funny stupid shit. Stuff like that. I think she didn't reply because she probably didn't see it as that interesting of a topic. In the future talk about stuff IN PERSON, and leave the goofy dumb stuff to snapchat. Have fun with it! Send her some funny snaps, get her number(shoulda gotten it when you got her snap but no biggie), setup a date/time to hangout or meetup. Boom.
