If you are a jobless student like me half a year ago and are trying to find a job, consider applying for retail jobs. Yes, customer service can suck at times, but it has helped me a lot with women and social life in general, unexpectedly. You are forced to talk to people, even if you don't feel like it that day.

As a cashier, i get quick, brief interactions with some beautiful women as well and it has pushed me to be solid at maintaining eye contact, for example. I work at a big clothes and furniture store in Canada and that means our store is always full, so i always get a ton of social warmup during my shifts, sometimes just a couple hours before i go out clubbing or to a bar... And you're making $$$ in the process.

Seriously, if you're currently looking for a job, consider this.
