First time poster, don't know all the PUA lingo. Anyway, tonight was my first try at approaching, anyone! I'm very shy, and after losing about 130 pounds this was the first time I actually had the confidence to start a conversation.

The evening starts with a good female friend of mine asks me to come to a concert with her. At the concert get introduced to 8/10. Smalltalk leads to "couple like" cuddling under concert and that we have a similar affection for cooking, get number and she said she wanted a "bake challenge" with me. Okay?

After the concert me and female friend went to a local waterhole for some refreshments, meet 7/10 in bar, silly cheesy pickup line, is perfectly. Start talking, keeps up for 30 minutes. Her friend, 8/10, comes and joines us. As seddit often suggest, I made it one of my "missions" to keep her friend involved in the conversation. This was a great success that lead me to two more numbers. Waterhole closing, say goodbye to girls, and both wanted a call or text before the weekend was over.

On the way home I meet a random guy, start talking to him just to work on talking to strangers, ends up with us exchanging numbers because of we had very similar interests.

WTF? This actually works!
