All of the highest value men I know have ~300 social media "friends" or fewer and they're all people those men know IRL. And these are younger men who grew up with social media.

It's not a coincidence.

Imagine being fifty-fucking-two years old and adding random women as friends on FB for validation. I can hardly imagine something sadder.

Any man who does that immediately seems low value to me. I get these sort of friend requests all the time and never accept them. It's gross.

What problem is he solving by adding all these random women to Facebook, and what value does it bring to his life?

Yeah no big no.

Think of it like this? Why would someone want to do that? No one just adds a bunch of single women on face book just because. No one does an action without a reason behind it. No one wastes their own time. If he's doing it it's because he's getting something out of it.

The problem is you will never get him to admit what the reason is. So it's better to bail. If you confront him he will make up an excuse. Or say it's none of your business. But if you did this with guys, there's no way he'd be chill.
