There was a thread earlier along the lines of "This is why I don't like TRP". It was on the front page yesterday. Tons of comments there should easily highly the difference in the ideologies.

My tl;dr: Red Pill and MGTOW are pretty much the same in terms of female psychology, gynocentrism, etc. It is was we decide to do from knowing this information that makes the difference.

TRP accepts the shitty conditions we are forced in but do their best to exploit the system. They focus on developing tactics that use the female psychology to their advantage in order to fulfill their biological need for sex. They also are focused on self-improvement but largely this too is just a means to the end of getting laid.

MGTOW takes this information and realizes that the cost of putting up these facades/engaging in this system outweighs the benefit. We don't exactly tell women to fuck off unless they try to force us back into the system that benefits them: "Oh you don't want to die alone don't you?" "You deserve a good woman" "Don't you care about having kids?" "You must be avoiding women because you are afraid of commitment". These are the types of comments you might get from women as a MGTOW. We deflect these foolish criticisms and focus on doing our own thing because that is how we will get the most enjoyment out of our lives.

TRP is about obtaining Gynocentric currency to trade for services with women, to trade in for better social and economic access in a Gynocentric society. TRP's primary focus is the micro individual and the psychology of female behavior, the removal of economic obstacles(betas,competition,etc). Its basically the fulfillment of the biological gynocentric drives embedded in men.

Are TRP guys slaves to their Gynocentric programming, yes though some of conscious of the issue but not many. Most men go there to learn how to satiate nature's programming, and have an economy close to that of animals, though again most people are like this not just TRPs.

MGTOW is almost the same, most men coming to the philosophy are here to "compromise". Meaning most still want to have sex with women, play in the sandbox of their biology yet like the moniker of MGTOW and ascribe at face to the brand. But hardly do they understand the macro implications, hardly do they even bother to educate themselves of the macro world. Despite having some strong philosophical elements within MGTOW, most MGTOW are shallowed red pillers at best.

It really is what you make out of it. Most people are retarded and are only micro thinkers who can only live for what's before them. Some who come here might wake to the fact of the social/economic macro and learn but that's wishful thinking at best.

TRP wants to understand women and use it to manipulate themselves into a better position with them.

We have realised that the people we need to understand are ourselves and doing that we suddenly discovered that the world is full of other things than chasing skirt by their rules, so we went hiking in the woods, scuba diving, took up model making, adopted a dog, read up on medieval castles, joined a drama group, kept pet rats, etc. The list is endless. Life is too good with too many opportunities so don't waste it on people who want to set your agenda for their own benefit. We may well have friendly relationships with women, they may well be intimate, but we will never become 'the provider' so we leave it to others to get divorce raped.

TRP: Trying to "understand" the true nature of women in order to get laid. Spin multiple "plates," maybe a LTR, don't get married. Pass shit tests. Maintain "Frame." Fuck as many whores as possible. Become the muscular/rich Chad asshole that all women desire. Defines success in life as success with females.

MGTOW: Instead of focusing on getting laid, focus on whatever makes you happy since women are a massive time/money-sink. Never get married.

Red Pill is a sexual strategy for obtaining sex and maintaining control of your place in the male-female dynamic.

MGTOW takes the wisdom accrued by the Red Pill community, and says fuck it, It's just not worth it.

In a way they rest on the same foundations but take opposite directions in what to do with those foundations.

Ask yourself OP, why you labeled them as DESPERATELY? Looks to me like you was looking for approval for some of your decisions here. I might be wrong.

Many men who consider themselves mgtow have sex relationships with women. Many of them contribute to mgtow community a lot. So not so much difference here. Probably difference is somewhere else.

After reading TRP branch though i can say that many of them consider themselves alpha and brag about it. It looks like self validation. But many of them don't know what alpha really means. Their alpha / beta model is very simplified and often wrong.
