It almost made up for Sansa getting power of the North, the "pronoun doesn't have a gender", Dany being a bitch for no reason as usual except it didn't.

GoT is done. Now that it's left the books far behind, it just virtue signals. I say this as an enormous GoT fan, but it seems like these last two seasons are gonna fuck up the whole story so far. Instead of being the greatest story of all time, it's insipid cultural propaganda

Meh, the show is beyond redemption at this point. The strong wymyn should have never existed as characters in the first place than get the cliche GRRM treatment.

I think the show was only good as it kept on with the books. The further it drifted away, the worse it became.

The last good season was the 2nd in my opinion. After that, it's been using effects trying to make up for holes in the story.

What I don't understand is why would you reduce the amount of seasons and episodes to be on pair with the book, and then agree on 4 spin offs.

I don't think the spin offs are gonna be any good, time will tell (of course if the are finished in the next 10 years or something).

Tyrion sets up the specific plan to actually do that.

On the other side, Cercei wants to stay on the iron throne.

Leaves a near and totally strategic point free for Daenerys to use at her please.

Jon Snow has clearly in mind what's the situation and how to deal with it.

His screaming sister Sansa judges and puts him on the spot against his own comrades.

Even after he specifically told her to not do that.

Greyjoy's sis naval activity is a complete failure and her naval army gets penetrated like a raging bull rapes a sleeping sheep.

Arya Stark wants to play badass and go kill the queen on her own because she is angry.

At the exact time she knows her brother is back home, she makes a 180° and goes back to him.

I've had so many complaints of the two episodes so far and the last two seasons. I've read the first two books and thoroughly enjoyed them but I was told that the fifth book goes full retard with Dany so I decided not to read the rest. I think the first three seasons are television gold and the only redeeming part of season 4 was Oberyn. Look at what they've done to Tyrion. He's literally a fucking pet. His entire character is based on his wit and his ability to talk shit to everyone because of his name, and now they have taken both of those away and made him a humble servant for m'lady. Notice the war-planning scene on Dragonstone where the only men in the room were two eunuchs, Varys and Greyworm, and a dwarf. Everyone else in that room was a strong womayn. Arya communicating with wolves is like something out of a fucking young adult book. The time chronology is completely fucked up, they declare battle movements at the start and then 35 minutes later the navy is on the way. And how the fuck did that battle scene even work? How does Euron's fleet sneak up on her fleet IN OPEN WATER? That's not even remotely close to how naval warfare works. Also, as far as I can remember, we have not had a nude love scene for the whole series besides a short little bit of Robb and his wife. We've had some naked prostitutes and a bunch of gay scenes but a nude love scene, and a long one at that, reserved for the black characters of the show because GoT is a liberal machine for liberal HBO. Which is hilarious because Sopranos and Deadwood are the most anti-liberal drama shows I've ever seen.

Also fuck them for what they've done and what they're going to do to Littlefinger to shoehorn him in to the role of the villain this season. He never reveals his plans to anyone and now all of a sudden he's spilling the beans to Jon Snow? Get the fuck out of here.

Just love how people have went into the North, fucked around and came back to the wall. The cripple Stark kid made it to the wall. The Wildmen made it to the wall. ETC. But the fucking white walkers can't seem to make it to the wall.

I stopped caring about GoT when they killed off their 2 best villains, Joffrey & Tywin, in one season.
