Yeah subreddits that /u/spez support don't have to follow reddit rules. Don't be one of those people who suggest we do the same thing as they do, because this sub will definitely be banned from reddit if we start pre emptive bannings.

Everyone gets auto-subscribed to that shithole just so that they can ban you afterwards. It's like a cry for attention because most people wouldn't even know of TwoXChromosomes if it weren't for their constant cancer subscriptions and bans.

Still it feels bad for getting banned for doing nothing wrong... although now I know what kind of shithole that sub is and I don't miss it at all, still feels weird.

Had a few bans like this myself. Weird receiving a ban message from a sub that I don't even visit. Seems like they are bored and want to have an argument or something.

The same thing happened to me a few months ago. All of my prior posts had been highly supportive of LGBQT issues and people, and of both men and women in general. When I posted in The_Donald, it was in a big discussion about a transgender issue where I defended the transgender side. Trying to make the point that we're not sick bastards and that we don't all want to 'cut our dick off'. I literally spent an entire evening/night replying to all kinds of people. Next morning I log onto reddit and see I'm banned from 2x, lol. I sent them a mail asking wtf? But no response. Just left it at that.
