You need to differentiate boredom from loneliness, though they are obviously intertwined and reinforcing.

MGTOW is all about putting yourself first, so it is essential that you take that freedom and use it to make yourself happy. There is a whole world of fun, interesting and engaging stuff to do, so much so that you should be sad that you'll never do 1/10,000th of it no matter how hard you try.

Loneliness is the result of living a non-traditional lifestyle that almost invariably alienates you from other people and acts as an impediment to building positive relationships. Sadly there is no silver bullet for this, and you need to work on it every day to find a level of social interaction that is positive and fulfilling.

My go to advice is to find people with common interests and create relationships based around that instead of mate sorting or juvenile boys club treehouse nonnsese. However, I'm sure there are many other methods of getting your people fill beyond shared hobbies and passions.

Learn a foreign language, then go travel there.

For example, you could spend 6 mos. learning Canadian, then you could travel there and be able to speak to the natives.

I'm with you... funny how much time opens up once you decide you don't want to make a relationship a priority.

I've been playing guitar, bass, and drums. Learning a lot about instrument maintenance and set up and buying the necessary tools for the job. Trying to avoid too much television and have been reading much more. Did a lot of hiking with my dogs and friends this fall, as well.

Also...looking to go back to school. I'm 30 and have realized how much time I've wasted working shitty jobs and chasing puss. At least I've woken up...better late than never.

Hit the gym, physical exercise will def be a plus for anyone, even if you're not in shape, you'll feel better, build muscle, and sleep better, and it's a mood enhancer naturally.

Have drinks with friends. Throw a poker/pool party for the bros.

My own list of things I do for money, fun, education, goal achievment

Head into the wood shop to build furniture

Fire up the forge to make some needed hardware or fix something.

Mods for my pickup truck fleet

Mountain biking

Cutting firewood

Adding to my movie collection, currently around 8000 titles, including about 180 World War 2 flicks. Started with Demonoid back in 2005.

I also need to upgrade the mediabox computer that's connected to the internet, TV, stereo, tape deck, and Blueray player with new motherboard , CPU, ram

Hobbies are a big one.

Tonight before lifting I'm going to weld up a bench press 'rack' to replace the wood one I built to lift at home. Took a welding class a few years ago.

If I was super bored on a Saturday I'd pick a really good restaurant and go eat there - yes you bet by myself. I like good food prepared by other people and I'd stuff myself and people watch while I eat.

Go learn something - anything - there are classes for shit all over the place - expand your skill set in all areas. Languages cooking welding electronics etc. does not matter.

Do sport - I play hockey lift run etc. Again does not matter.

Only boring people are bored :)

Lately I've been working on my house and studying long term stock and mutual fund/index fund strategies to fund some long term goals concerning my kids and early retirement.
