Well from what I understand quite a few Incels still are trying to jump in the boat with women and are frustrated at how their luck worked out.

I’d say those incels are going through the red pill rage.

As for mgtow that means going your own way, disregarding the collective demands of women and society and putting your own needs and wants first. It means not lamenting your lot in life anymore, and self-actualizing a life worth living without the AWALTs rather than binging on how sad it is love is simply a piped dream.

Incel -> laments lot in life and doesn’t self-actualize. Quite a few will go back if they had the chance.

Mgtow-> self actualizes lot in life. Ignores the demand of investing in women beyond businesslike relations at the least. Quite a few strive for financial independence, health improvement, and a gradually removable from the Matrix of society.

At least from what I’ve read. I’ve seen incels sub before it went. So many of their posts documented their frustration of their genetic hand in comparison to others.

I don’t have any problem with incels as individuals, but as a collective?

First, I realize that it’s a vocal minority, but enough incels demand legalizing rape and pedophilia. That doesn’t work for me.

Second, they come here with that shit. So everyone just assumes MGTOW is just incels who pretend it’s a choice. That’s not true, and incels need to stay in their lane. It’s very easy for their posts to make this appear to be another hate group, because our shit posts, and their hate posts, are very easy to confuse as the same thing.

Pointing out Women’s failings and pulling them off the pedestal is not the same thing as “I’m going to rape that bitch and cut her throat”.

Third, I understand incels have a more complex situation than I do. They may have appearance deficits, health issues, clearly mental disorders, bad skin, whatever that affects their ability to attract a woman. Ok, it’s a bad situation for that. I have x sympathy points I’ll offer. But at some point sympathy runs out. Because they. Won’t. Shut. The. Fuck. Up. “I get it, Mr. Ginger McPimpleFace, you’ve gotten a raw deal. You’re not attractive to today’s women. Now shut the fuck up about it.”

It’s like that uncle over for the holidays that can’t talk about anything by Mexicans taking his job. I get it. Move on.

Another issue for me personally is most incels have a severe issue with locus of control. Incels have a real external locus of control issue. In that regard it’s no different than SJW groups in which all the evil in the world is outside of them. Like it’s everyone else’s fault that they’re ugly. I mean, sorry you’re in a wheelchair son, I truly am, but that’s not the fault of girls you get boners for.

As far as your contension that incels have given up, identified they’re the problem, and moves on past relationships, that’s fine, but that had not been my observation of /r/incels. They haven’t moved on from shit. If they had they’d be MGTOW. But they’re incels. And that pussy is firmly mounted atop a pedestal and they’re too thirsty for it.

The basic difference is that incels are not voluntarily going their own way, they're doing it because they've been rejected so many times by women, they've involuntarily given up. MGTOW's may be monk or not, depending on their own way. Though it may seem a fine point, this involuntary aspect makes for a huge difference. One of these differences is that incels are frequently angry and hate women, which is much less common with MGTOW's. One way for incels to be welcomed to MGTOW would be for them to reach a point that they're VOLUNTARILY celibate and be at peace with that condition. In summary it seems like incels are going the way women have directed them, not their own way.

The problems that I have with some of the Incels that come to this area:

Some clearly have serious depression problems that they are either completely oblivious to, or are intentionally deciding not to seek treatment for. This is 2017. We have doctors, we have medicine. Use them.
Some clearly have very unhealthy mindsets and should seek treatment by a psychologist. Specifically including the following attributes: Hopelessness, rejection of self improvement for the betterment of their own life, lack of motivation, paranoia, suicidal thoughts, and apathy.
Some talk about the need to commit illegal acts or taking action to legalize currently illegal acts. Specifically in regards to ones that are generally accepted by nearly all of society as illegal for a good reason.

Due to the above three points, these people write really annoying, flame-bait, demoralizing, demotiviational, or just in general, trash posts and comments.

Obviously, this does not apply to every "incel" community person since anybody can join any community at any time but it does seem to be more common with "incel" community than with the regular MGTOW community.
