Sometime last year I matched with a girl on tinder, we got to talking and it didn't take long before every conversation we had turned to how hard she wanted me to drill her, all looking good so far, right?

She asks me if I'm currently talking to anyone else on tinder to which I stupidly and honestly say no, she says the same, figuring she was bullshitting but hoping she wasn't we kept talking and set a date to meet up which was about 1-2 weeks after we started chatting.

The day before we're supposed to hookup I get a text saying how she went on an unexpected date and how her and the guy hit it off really well and have agreed to see each other and if I wanted to be friends "for the meantime". Now I've never been directly asked to play the role of backup before so needless to say it was a surprise.

Basically I just want to know how many others have found themselves in a similar scenario. I've been second choice before but I've yet to see it done like this, being made to believe I was a sure thing to being relegated as plan b.
